CocoGo Review

*** The giveaway has now ended. Use code EDEDIC to get 40% off at Cocogo Store ***

I was lucky enough to get an opportunity to test a new hydration drink from Cocogo. At first I didn’t really know what to expect as I have my proven hydration methods. Considering that I am in the middle of training for a goal race, I didn’t want to compromise many of my runs. I thought about it for a while before agreeing to try some product. What I was sent, was a mixed box with all flavors Cocogo offers at this time: Lemon-Lime, Raspberry-Passion Fruit and Grape.

Ready for review
Powder mix is delivered in handy little pouches that are very easy to open. Pouches are single serving. However, I found that you need to use at least 2 packages in a 24oz bottle, or the flavor was too weak. I would like to see maybe a little bigger pouches. All 3 flavors tasted just great, and went down very easy.

Before I go any further, let me tell you a bit more about Cocogo. As described by the company:
Cocogo is a new premium sports drink made with real fruit and coconut water in stick pack. It is the best tasting, best performance sports drink. It tastes better because it’s all-natural and isn’t overly sweet. Not only do people prefer the taste, they credit Cocogo for steady energy, no muscle cramps, being easy on the stomach, and preventing “the bonk.” And when you compare Cocogo to other sports drinks, you’ll see the proof: Cocogo offers the best balance of electrolytes, contains an ideal blend of sugars, and has seven essential vitamins.

I used Cocogo drinks on runs ranging from 5-14 miles as well as post run hydration drink. All my experiences with the drink were very favorable. I did not experience any issues or discomfort. The taste was excellent and I felt properly hydrated. There was no after taste that you get with some drinks. Running in winter time is always easier as far as electrolytes go at least for me, so I would be very interested to try Cocogo in some warmer weather as sweating rate increases.

Little bit more about their ingredients and why they are contained in the product:

Cocogo helps you hydrate more effectively with Mother Nature’s natural nutrients. Fruits like these deliver vitamins and minerals to your cells.
  • Coconut Water replenishes necessary minerals lost through sweat
  • Grapes, Berries, Passion Fruit, and Citrus bring authentic flavor. They sweeten without tasting sugary. Their vitamins don’t hurt a bit, either. Monk Fruit adds natural sweetness and health-promoting compounds

Ingredient comparison as provided by Cocogo

Pros:

- Great taste
- Ease of use – packets are super easy to open and perfect for on the go
- Great balance of sugar and electrolytes

Cons:

- Serving size – I really wish each packet packed a little more. This is just my personal preference and some people might prefer different taste/electrolyte ratio

Serving size information from the box
Overall, I have been very impressed with Cocogo, and would definitely get it again especially with warmer weather coming soon (hopefully).

You can purchase Cocogo on their website at store.cocogo.com.
